Brunel Street Works Claims Two Awards at Considerate Constructors Awards Scheme 2019

Partnerships London claims two awards at Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards 2019

Partnerships London celebrated two award wins this month in recognition of the Business Unit's ongoing commitment to the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).

Firstly, Brunel Street Works was awarded for its continued efforts as an “Ultra Site” at the recent London round of awards – a status which exceeds the scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice by demonstrating and promoting the highest standards of the scheme and actively seeking to improve not only its own performance, but that of the wider construction industry, particularly through the supply chain.

Secondly, the Devons Road site team was awarded a Bronze award, recognised for having raised the bar for actively committing to endorse and demonstrate the actions required to adhere to the CCS code of conduct. Sites are judged on criteria such as the measures it has put in place to be more considerate towards local neighbourhoods and the public, the workforce, and the environment.

Ray Toft, Managing Director of Partnerships London, said:

“These quality awards recognise our total commitment to the highest site standards and the efforts we make to minimise disruption to the public. We take our responsibilities as a Considerate Constructor very seriously and I’m delighted that both teams can celebrate their clearly demonstrated commitment by being awarded at this level regionally.”
