Aylesbury Estate Plot 18

Notting Hill Genesis and Southwark Council are committed to the Aylesbury regeneration and to a shared vision that will see the area become a vibrant part of the Walworth neighbourhood.
In February 2020 Vistry Partnerships were appointed as main contractor to regenerate the Plot 18 site on the Aylesbury Estate.
The mixed-use scheme will create 122 mixed tenure homes, comprising a mixed tenure of:

• 23 new homes for extra care over 55s,
• 99 new homes for PRS.

All 122 new homes on the square will be available for rent with 23 offering social rents for the over-55s, and 99 for private rent through ‘Folio London’, Notting Hill Genesis’ PRS market rent brand, which
offers high quality, fully furnished homes.

In addition, the new development will create much needed new community facilities for local residents including:

• a health centre,
• a library,
• an early years nursery,
• two retail spaces,
• a community centre.

A new public square has been designed to serve as a central hub for the neighbourhood with improved public space and a water feature acting as its centrepiece.
Throughout the duration of the contract, Vistry will look to support local residents into training and employment opportunities across the construction sector. This includes pre and post-employment training, employment support, in-work support, job search, employer engagement, traineeships and apprenticeships, as well as access to jobs at Vistry and through our supply chain partners.
The project will complete July 2022.
