Gallions Place

Vistry Partnerships and Notting Hill Genesis have formed a joint venture to provide 241 new homes at one of east London’s leading regeneration sites; Royal Albert Wharf in Beckton.

Gallions Place’ will provide a residential-led mixed-use development with the new homes built across blocks, ranging from five storeys to 11 storeys.

The scheme represents the next phase of development at the major regeneration project, providing 95 affordable homes (40%), as well as more than 1,500m2 of mixed-use space. The new Quarter will bring forward vibrant mixed use accommodation, including much needed new mixed tenure housing, retail and commercial accommodation for local people and businesses and creating a desirable place within the east end of London for people to live and work.

Working in partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA) who own the land, Gallions Place will also provide a range of public realm benefits and improvements, including: a new urban park to the south of Gallions Reach DLR station, containing children’s play areas and new and enhanced walking and cycling routes providing greater connectivity for the local community to surrounding transport links and facilities.

Throughout the duration of the contract, Vistry will look to support local residents into training and employment opportunities across the construction sector. This includes pre and post-employment training, employment support, in-work support, job search, employer engagement, traineeships and apprenticeships, as well as access to jobs at Vistry and through our supply chain partners.

Royal Albert Wharf is one of London’s largest regeneration schemes. Led by Notting Hill Genesis, once all phases are complete the scheme will provide over 1,800 new homes.

Construction works commenced in August 2020, with expected build-completion by January 2023.
