Leading regeneration business Vistry Partnerships has completed the construction of 40 new homes in Havercroft for West Yorkshire’s largest housing association, WDH.
The new development provides 100% affordable homes, including Shared Ownership and Affordable Rent tenures.
Long standing partners Vistry Partnerships and WDH are currently working together on two other schemes in Yorkshire: at Ashfield Park in Normanton and Hellifield in Skipton.
The Havercroft development, called The Falls, represents the sixth time that the businesses have worked together to deliver more affordable homes across Yorkshire.
Commenting, Andrew Poyner, Managing Director of Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire, said:
“As a partnerships business, we are always looking to build and develop long term partnerships with like-minded businesses that want to build more affordable housing, and that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do with WDH. Havercroft is the latest of our sites to provide 100% affordable homes – giving local people a genuine chance to move into a quality new home. We hope there will be many more opportunities to continue our work together in the future.”
Sue Young, Executive Director of Investment at WDH said: “Our vision is to create confident and sustainable communities by building new, affordable homes in the Wakefield district and beyond. Collaborating with Vistry Partnerships helps us to provide high quality, family homes for affordable rent and for sale through shared ownership to people in the area.”
WDH is helping customers imagine life at The Falls having recently opened a new show home which is available to view.
