Vistry Partnerships selected by Homes England for 171 home scheme near Rochdale

Leading regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships, part of the Vistry Group, has been selected by Homes England to build 171 homes in Littleborough near Rochdale.

Vistry Group is one of the top five housebuilders in the UK by volume, delivering homes through its Partnerships and Housebuilding business.

Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire will lead the scheme through the preconstruction phase and onto site in early 2022. The team has a proven reputation for partnering and delivery within the housing sector, allied with the in-house expertise to transform complex and brownfield sites into visionary developments.

Working with Homes England via its Delivery Partner Panel, Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire will deliver this exciting development of new homes. Vistry Partnerships is currently developing 19 Homes England sites, building over 4,000 new homes.

Under the plans, the Littleborough scheme will deliver a high quality, mixed tenure development with homes available for sale under Vistry Group’s Linden Homes brand.

Located just north of the M62, the new homes will benefit from excellent access by road and rail to the area’s major employment hubs including Manchester, Leeds, Huddersfield and Blackburn. Just a short stroll from the train station and the popular Hollingworth Lake, the development has direct access to a canal-side walk as well as far reaching views across the rural landscape.

Commenting, Andrew Poyner, Managing Director of Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire, said:
“This contract represents the first project with Homes England through the Delivery Partner Panel for our Yorkshire business and we look forward to delivering an excellent range of new homes for the local community. Importantly, we’re providing a mix of quality new homes to appeal to a wide range of customers.”

Stephen Teagle, Chief Executive of Vistry Partnerships, said:
“Since Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire joined our business in 2019, they’ve focused on securing larger, mixed-tenure opportunities and I’m delighted to see this strategy bearing fruit. We work extensively with Homes England and we are very pleased to be taking forward this new site and delivering a range of homes that matches local housing need and accelerates the supply of new homes.”
