Vistry Partnerships selected to deliver 185 new homes for Treveth Holdings in Cornwall

Leading regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships has secured a £34.2m contract with Treveth Holdings LLP, to deliver 185 new homes in Tolgus, west of Redruth, Cornwall.

The project will see the delivery of 185 new homes, including 90 homes for private rent, 22 open market homes, and a further 73 affordable homes (a mix of affordable rented and shared ownership), making a significant contribution to Cornwall’s affordable homes provision. Work is due to commence on site in September 2021 with the final phase of the development expected to be completed by Summer 2024.
The development will offer a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes as well as an array of open well designed green spaces and cycle paths with views towards St Agnes Beacon and beyond. Working to incorporate low carbon heating solutions with a highly insulated Fabric First approach, all of the new homes will have air source heat pumps as standard, creating sustainable homes that complement the natural surroundings.

Kathryn Pennington, Regional Development Director for Partnerships South West commented; “We are delighted to have been appointed to deliver this fantastic new development in Tolgus working in partnership with Treveth to bring much needed high-quality homes to Cornwall.
“We are passionate about creating sustainable and vibrant new communities and these new homes will ensure people who have grown up in the area can remain local.”

Tolgus Farm is part of a wider investment programme by Treveth, with other projects taking place in Liskeard, Bodmin, Launceston and Newquay.

Tim Mulholland, Managing Director of Treveth, said: “Tolgus is Treveth’s largest scheme to date and part of our pipeline of more than 600 high quality homes that will be underway in Cornwall over the next three years. We’re looking forward to working with Vistry and making a real difference in the Cornish housing market.”

Kathryn added; “Here at Vistry Partnerships we are proud to work with in collaboration with our valued partners across the South West. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with Treveth to deliver much needed high quality housing across Cornwall.”
